ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Quay Zone is a community run leisure facility in Girvan, South Ayrshire managed and operated by South Carrick Community Leisure a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
Since forming in 2012, South Carrick Community Leisure have worked with various partners including South Ayrshire Council to provide the new leisure facility for the community of Girvan and surrounding areas.

Support Provided
As a charity, South Carrick Community Leisure received support from Parris & McNally to achieve funding from various bodies including South Ayrshire Council, Scottish Government, Local Windfarm Developers, Carrick Futures and SportScotland. Parris & McNally also provided assistance in the setup and training of Xero to allow South Carrick Community Leisure to manage their bookkeeping. Parris & McNally continue to provide support in the form of monthly management reports, Xero support and end of year accounts submission.
Outcome
The Quay Zone opened its doors on 27th April 2017 to a great reception from residents and continues to enjoy success with membership and overall activity growing month on month.
